Big Smiles

Yesterday at about 2:30 they took Bryan of the cooling machine, doing this meant that they could unparalyze him. So last night, he was really moving his arms and head and when Airiel got there at 7:00, he opened his eyes and smiled at her. It completely made her day. He is very responsive and alrert, more so than they thought he would be this quickly. He is progressing very rapidly and hope to be able to take the breathing tube out today or tomorrow. If they can do that then they will be able to take the off the sedation drug and then he can really start waking up. He will probably stay in the ICU until the middle of next week and then he will be in recovery for a few days depending on how his progression is coming along. His youth and good heath are big factors in him doing so well so quickly. All of your prayers have certainly been a great benefit also and the family is amazed at all the generosity that has been given. Thanks again.
